FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will I receive a letter this year notifying me of clinic dates?
Postcards will be mailed to notify our high risk patients that clinics are beginning, however the dates of the clinics will be posted separately. Clinics will be listed on our website, in our offices and also on our flu information line.
The phone number for the flu line is 978-818-6767.
This line is recorded information only and will not be monitored for messages.

How often will the flu clinics run?
For all high risk patients there will be clinics scheduled in our Peabody office every Saturday and Sunday during the months of October and November.
Siblings of high risk patients are also welcome at these clinic dates.

What if my child is not considered high risk?
We anticipate clinics for non-high risk patients will begin in the middle of November. Please check back during early November for postings of clinic dates and times.

Do I need to schedule an appointment during one of the clinics?
No. Clinics are held on a walk-in basis with patients taken in order of arrival. As always, we will do our best to keep things moving as quickly as possible to avoid long delays. We ask for everyone's cooperation in helping us accomplish this.

Can my child receive their flu vaccine during a regularly scheduled appointment?
Absolutely. If your child is scheduled or due for a complete physical or follow up appointment in October, November or early December, please feel free to request your flu vaccine at that time. You will not need to attend a clinic unless other children in your household need to be vaccinated.
