We are delighted to welcome Lauren Lucier, SLP and Developmental Screener, to PHCA!
Lauren is a Speech-Language Pathologist joining our team to provide speech, language, and feeding services, as well as developmental screenings. She brings strong pediatric outpatient experience and has supported children with a wide range of communication and feeding needs from infancy through adolescence.
Lauren has specialized training in pediatric feeding therapy, particularly with infants and young toddlers (6 months–1.5 years) who have difficulty chewing or transitioning from bottle feeding to purees and table foods. She also works with children of all ages whose feeding challenges stem from oral‑motor or sensory factors, with a focus on family education and responsive feeding strategies.
In the areas of language and articulation, Lauren has experience supporting children with expressive and receptive language delays, developmental language disorders, articulation and phonological challenges, and orofacial myofunctional concerns. She also supports bilingual language learners through parent coaching to help families strengthen communication skills in both languages.
Lauren is trained in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and is able to complete AAC evaluations, device trials, and caregiver training to help children access the communication tools that best support their independence and participation.
